You could try some Birchwood-Casey aluminum black. Make sure the are is degreased well and apply with a Q-tip until you get the desired color and wipe with a paper towel. It won't be perfect but better than nothing.

Yes, that will cover them too but, the sharpie is a bit darker than the scope finish and does show.Quote:

Next time use Burris Signature rings, usually no marks of any kind. Sometimes minor change in the matte finish, sort of a burnished look, but most instances there is nothing left by the rings.
