Front stud diameter & thread?

Love the site. 1st post so be gentle. I did search repeatedly here and on the net.

Anyone know the diameter and pitch of the front stud on the Savage mkII?

Looking for where it screws into the receiver.... appears to be something goofy like 5/16 - 32 pitch? I have tried McMaster Carr, MSC, Fastenal all my normal fastener haunts. Prefer a button head 1/2-5/8" long.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Trying to rework a stock to fit this for my boy...
