Mark II Sear Replacement

I just got a Mark II GXP. First time out i noticed the trigger was pretty tough. Before i read these forums about shimming, i ordered the riflebasix sear. Then, like an idiot too late at night took apart my gun. i followed the instructions but didn't pay enough attention while removing the original pieces. i can't seem to get it back together correctly. do i need to have the sear in a certain position when i put the trigger back in or is there some trick to it? i feel dumb but maybe you guys could help me out. Thanks
