.223 Compact Carbine range report
Went to the range with some pards from work, spanked all the Remington tactical .308 and the Sendero's as well.
First load tried. I wonted a load for targets, varmints and deer and went with the 65 gr. Sierra Gameking SPBT.
Pretty good for targets, now lets see how it works on deer....

Re: .223 Compact Carbine range report
Nice shooting. When you say "compact carbine" is that factory, or did you cut down the barrel yourself, if so, what length?

I have one of these. I believe the correct name for this model is Savege Model 10 Precision Carbine. It is offered in Savage's Law Enforcement Series. Great rifle.
