Fantastic rifle in .308 and my favorite high power rifle. After all these years, decided to remove the butt plate, stock and re-lube the action. I discovered that the butt plate end of the stock has a pressed in serial number matching the rifle serial number. My first post so cannot submit a photo; however soon!
