What an education! In the first 30 minutes since I joined I have learned more about the "tuning" of my new rifle in respect to mounting the scope, using threadlockers, and now this. It is obvious that I need to save up and get my action timed and trued, and maybe have a precision recoil block put in. I am not a competitive shooter but I do like what I've learned about the basic tuning that makes a great rifle superb. Model 10 FCP-SR.....for me, it's my pride and joy of what I own now. Thanks!

Is timing and truing an action doable for someone who can build ARs and do basic DIY stuff around the house?
Or is it better to take to a gunsmith?
