99 question from another forum-

"Trying to repair a faulty hammer indicator on a Savage 99A. Have removed the bolt stop and cartridge stop,lever cap screw and pivot. I removed the lever from its pivot and have been trying to wrangle the lever from the action once I have cleared the lever lug from the bolt but cannot find enough clearance to remove it entirerly from the action. Is there anything I missed. Have been refering from the illustrated takedown procedure in the "Gun Digest sporting rifle take down & assembly guide"

any help?

The trigger also has to be removed.
