I am thinking about trading for a Savage Fox Shot gun The guy says its a model b-d-13V
Serrial # 3005*** . It has a fox head engraved on the bottom of the action scroll engraving on the side
and is case hardened . I have not seen it yet he says its 90%
Whats it worth?

Sure you got that serial number right?
I always thought the Fox shotguns made by Savage had an A serias serial number but maybe it was made prior to that. When you get it we'll figure it out with the date code on it.
The fellow brought the shotgun to work this morning . The serrial # I gave is the patten #
But I cant find the serrial # I thinking you may have to remove the barrels to find the serial #.
The gun is in qreat condition has a nice stock .
Might not have one but check for a date code.
Should be a small oval circle stamped on the gun with a number and a letter stamped inside the circle.
