is the REM700 & Small shank SAVAGE thread size & pitch the same ?
Can I remove the shoulder & run the threads up on a R700 barrel , add a nut & use it on a Savage ?

No, Remington is a 16 pitch where as the Savage is a 20 pitch.
Ditto on that. Definitely not interchangeable.
