Weaver base # for Mark 1-Y

Just got a Savage Mark1-Y (youth model) for my grand daughter. Looking for Weaver scope bases for the rifle, getting different numbers from different sources. Am I correct that the correct Weaver base number for both front and back is #16? Thanks for your assistance.
