Something that is nearly flush with the bottom of the receiver would be nice.

In order to be flush, it would need to be a 3rd mag. You can use an AICS 5rd magazine which is quite a bit shorter than your 10rd. I have also heard of the Ruger GSR 3rd mag being used with slight modification. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/10...-polymer-black You can find “How To’s” on it.

RigB, the Stealth chassis uses AICS style magazines, not Savage proprietary mags. It comes stock with an MDT 10rd polymer mag.
