Any particular reason you are looking to go with a 26" barrel on your Axis?
Looking for longer range shooting setup. Possibly going .260 AI varmint barrel. Not made the decision to pull the trigger on it yet. Pardon the pun. ;)
I went with a 25" .260 "Match" Varmint barrel on mine. It gets me to 1000 yards no problem... Went with the "match" chamber so I could shoot the Long 143 ELD-X pills and still take full advantage of case capacity.Quote:
