Can some one tell me what i need to make my mag fit my boyd stock previous stock was synthetic. I was told i needed a floor plate but have no idea what that is.

Can some one tell me what i need to make my mag fit my boyd stock previous stock was synthetic. I was told i needed a floor plate but have no idea what that is.
Center feed?
Stagger feed?
Blind mag or removable magazine?

It's a removable mag.
Call Savage Customer service and give them your Serial number off the rifle. Then tell them you need the bottom metal for wood stocks (Which includes the mag well housing, and the replacement floor plate). I swapped out my synthetic stock on my 111 for the Boyd's Pro Varmint and I had to get all new bottom metal for Laminate stocks. Ran about $150.00 for the "real bottom metal", but there may be the plastic option available to you??
