Hello fellow gun enthusiasts. . I've just finished a 7-08 build from an old model 11 308win with a bent barrel and no stock someone thru in on a trade.Found a stock off fleabay and an unfired factory takeoff 7-08 barrel from a savage axis.(always wanted a 7-08) put a few rounds thru it to make sure all is in order, the head spacing is spot on it cycles and shoots nicely. I have $90 invested Should make a good deer rifle, thanx for having me

Welcome! Sounds like you got a great deal and a great game getter. My wife has a 7-08 and loves it, and it's very accurate as well.
