Dealer knocked 50 off sale price and with 100 rebate I couldn't say no. I have been wanting a 300 WSM but that was sold out and was 300 win mag. I ended up ordering a 338 win mag DOA 111. At least now I'm good with any NA game and at this price I cant really go wrong.

I it picked up last night and really don't like the stock. Unlucky for my wife I was thumbing through Boyds website and found a heavily discounted nutmeg thumbhole stock with Pachmayr pad. I don't know how a hunting rifle with top safety is going to work with the thumbhole, def not my first choice but price was right. On a side note I'm sure this rig will shoot more prairie dogs than it will ever, deer or elk.
You will love the 338, I had a Winchester and deer hunted with it(i know over kill) but with the right loads it is fantastic. Had to get rid of it when the shoulder went out.
Budsgunshop has the doa 6.5cm and 308 on sale for $366 before the $100 rebate.
