Have a couple savages, a model 11 LRH in 6.5 Creedmore and an older model 10 Tactical in .308 I also have several other rifles mostly military AR, AK, SKS, Mosin Nagant, etc.
I've gotten into long range steel shooting in the last year and I'm now about ready to "build" a savage as in take an action, buy a quality barrel and put them together with an aftermarket stock and see how it goes. Mostly here for the knowledge.

Welcome to the 6.5 realm. I think you will like it!
