I have been thinking about a special order from the Savage Custom Shop, a 116flcss in 338win mag. Has anyone here ordered anything from the CS lately and what was the time frame to get your order? Also what is the longest barrel length they offer?

I ordered a 110FLCP-K 300 Win Mag about 6 weeks ago and was told it would be about 6 weeks. I called Effie Sullivan this morning and she told me the rifle was scheduled for shipment next week....if it arrives on time, that's a close enough time frame for me.

I had them make me a 16FCSS in .260 it was no problem with 4 week delivery but that was last year. ;D
It was about 6 weeks on my 110FLP 25/06.Now if Choate will just hurry up and get my stock built,I'll finish it and go shooting.
I should clarify It wasn't Savage's fault they were having problems with the stock maker. Even though it was a tupperware they were coming in with the wrong dimensions.That is what I was told anyway.
