Using once-fired brass to fireform for 223 AI

I have a question for the AI guys out there. Due to the current reloading component supply issue, I might not be able to find my preference for new brass (Lapua). If I wanted to fire form using once fired brass for a 223 AI, do I need to anneal first? Or will they still be soft enough to fire form properly?

Go for it I have used several times fired brass to AI, in different calibers and never had a problem, not even remotely an issue, the 223 has got to be the most forgiving round there is, when it come to trying stuff.

Annealing will help. It will take shooting a time or two to fully form out the cases.
