Wood stock for Axis

Would you put a wood stock on your axis if the only option was single shot?

I hate wood stocks.

I guess if I had to choose between a wood stock & tying the barreled action to piece of PVC pipe I'd go with wood but it'd be a tough call...

would be easier to strengthen the PVC or just get the heaviest grade...

Couldnt live with one shot. Happiness is a warm barrel and a high body count.
