If it helps any, the 270 Win uses the same gauges as 25-06 and 30-06.

Use a new unfired sized empty brass, for go gage. Add apeice of scotch tape for no- go.Quote:

not really recommended as it is not unusual for new brass to be well below minimum size specs. Better to use a fired piece of brass sized in your reloading die. measure it then put a single piece of tape on the case head and measure again. you want 2/1000 or less difference in measured difference. That would be your go gage. If you plan to shoot factory ammo at any time then use an actual go gage as factory ammo can vary and may not fit a chamber set for your sized brass.Quote:
