Exactly as the title says, I did some searching and I've found some people were able to make their own, but I have no idea how to do that.
I also found a thread in which the poster says he has a 10 rnd magazine from "Triad Tactical." I looked up their site and found this: http://www.triadtactical.com/Alpha-I...-Magazine.html
but I seriously doubt that magazine will fit my gun. Can anyone help me out?
Try a modified bar mag( ww2 version ) i had limited success in 30-06 i had to weld on a block in the rear like a m-14 mag

I can wait to see how it fits / looks hanging out the bottom of my Edge. According to Rat, it worked out really well.

Well i was looking at my Ruger Gunsite Scout rifle and I think the Mag out of it may work in an AXIS. the release is built into the trigger guard and looks like it would be fairly straight forward. Im going to buy an AXIS for my wildcat build this week so before I tear the rifle apart I will do some looking and maybe testing with the Ruger Mag.
Got the Axis today and looks like if I make an adapter to go around the Ruger magazine it will work. Going to see if I can make an adapter tomorrow from nylon block and slip it around the Ruger magazine.

Ill post one shortly. The mag in the back hooks to a latch on the trigger guard I was thinking I will make a piece that moimicks the Axis mag latch.
I was working on a welded up magwell box like a Mini-14 and a .223 mag, Is the mag latch the same?

Im not familiar with the mini 14 but I would imagine that it would be both being Ruger rifles. I thought about a whole me trigger guard to hold the Ruger mag, but it wouldnt really work due to the distance from the mag well. An integrated trigger housing mag well might work . Hmmm
Old threads die hard. I's been a year since this question was asked. I will ask it also. Where can I get a 10 round or better magazine for my Savage Axis 30.06.

There isn't one, that's why this thread died 6 months ago.
There is one, it is just expensive to produce. The BAR surplus magazines that they are built from, have gone way up in price.
