New Guy with Model 29b Pump .22

New guy checking in from Utah. Just picked up my first Savage. It's a Model 29b I'm hoping to restore as a 'project gun'. I think it's probably post WWII. 1950's or 60's maybe. The stock isn't checkered and the forward pump is grooved. No heavy gunsmithing required just cosmetic restoration to the wood and metal. Kind of trying to find my way around your forum. Anybody else out there with one of these guns??? Anxious to get the work done and get some rounds through it. Think it will be a fun shooter!
