HS Precision stock bottom metal

Have a technical question for the experts. Just picked up an HS Precision stock (PSV118) for my Hog Hunter and made the mistake of ordering what I thought was the right bottom metal to make it DBM from PTG. While the PTG is very nice, it don't quite fit in that the opening in the aluminum bedding chassis in the stock is a hair too narrow, maybe .1" total; all other dimensions appear good. Is there another DBM bottom metal I might look at which wouldn't require carving out that chassis? The PSV118 is inletted for DBM but not sure which one, maybe stock Savage. Appreciate any help...
