I'd like to hear from shooters that have had hands-on experience with the Timberline with "factory trued" action. With regards to the 110 actions, I've always enjoyed excellent accuracy as a result of the floating bolt head. Just wondering if the "factory trued" version is worth the extra money. Thanks in advance to those who are able to shed some light on this issue. Cheers!
Nope.. Don’t put much faith in anything the “factory” does. :( Better off having a GS you trust or even better, yourself, if can do. (Wink-wink;))
Still can expect the normal Savage accuracy. But the factory saying they did some Uber-precision’istic, super-dee duper Truing, ain’t gonna magically make it Super Savage. Smellin’ what I’m steppin’ in?
Least that’s my thoughts on it anyway. Your results may vary.
Blueprinting the action might make it a bit smoother not so sure it would do much for overall accuracy. You can read more about it here. If it's what you want, go for it!

You're welcome! Blueprinting the action will remove typical tolerance stacking issues many DIY'rs do, but if you want a package that's ready to go and covered by factory warranty, I'd be all over it.
Had one of the Stealth rifles that was "factory blueprinted"- it worked fine but nothing that would lead you to think it was better. The floating bolt face does help with lug contact but it would still be better if everything was true. I'm sure it doesn't hurt anything- but wouldn't pay much more for it to be done. Seems like something that all the guns should be sold as- and not something that should cost more when they get it right.
