Pillar Bedding a Savage 110
Need some help. I need some advice and info on Pillar bedding a stock.
I built a cherry stock for my 110 but I want to install pillars.
Question is where do I get correct Stock screws and pillars. Found pillars at brownells and screws that are for a Rem 700 but I dont know if the head is correct. They need to be slightly longer than the stock ones?
Any help here?
Larry

I got this pillar kit off of Ebay and it worked perfect for the rifle I build my son. I will get another of the same for the next build. Luck, Tim

Re: Pillar Bedding a Savage 110
Get them long, spin a nut on them, cut them a bit longer than needed then polish the ends smooth, spin off the nut, check the threads, done deal. :o
Re: Pillar Bedding a Savage 110
Fastenal is a good place to get the screws, they have many different head styles.
