Does scope tunnel vision drive anybody else nuts besides me ??
Absolutely drives me nuts.
I pick up a leupold scope, even the cheap ones and when you look through it you get image that completely fills the eyepiece.
90% of the other scopes I pick up have tunnel vision and it drives me nuts.
Recently I wanted to go from a 2-7X leupold to a Weaver 2-10X EBX scope for the extra zoom at the top,
but tunnel vision there too so I sent it back.

Just about every aspect of shooting, reloading, and gunsmithing drives me nuts.

With proper eye positioning I've never had a problem. I don't nor will I probably ever owned a Leupold.

Leupold is a quality, well made American product with a great guarantee and repair service.

Depends on which Leupold products you are talking about. Some of the low end Leupold lines are cheap import China stuff, just like the other companies are pumping out.

Last I read, the Leupold warranty goes wherever the scope goes - doesn't matter how many times it's sold.
The Night Force warranty is only good for the original purchaser.
Been a year or so since I researched this so I may be wrong.
All scope manufactures and scopes have problems, but I prefer the transferrable warranties.
Re: Does scope tunnel vision drive anybody else nuts besides me ??
At half their price I *might* consider a Leupold. Fact is that a lot of their glass and parts are imported even though they claim to be American made. I don't sell scopes so I really could care less about whether the warranty is transferable. Way I see it, if the scope is good and well built I won't ever need the warranty anyway. I've yet to look through a Leupold scope that I considered adequate glass for the price. Leupold has not progressed over the last 3 decades or so but has continued to raise their prices. In the mean time, their competitors has stepped up their game while staying with a reasonable price point. I'll happily stick with better Japanese glass at a considerably lower price point (Vortex, Bushnell, Nightforce). IMO, Vortex probably has the best warranty and customer service in the industry and they have better glass than any Leupold I've ever seen and cost less to boot.

I've got to agree with helotaxi. I just updraded from a Vortex Crossfire to a Viper 6.5X20X50PA. The clarity, contrast and light transmission is outstanding. Their warranty and customer service is fantastic. If only the government operated as efficiently.

I buy what works and what I can afford while not robbing my 3 daughters of a good upbringing. My tunnel vision went away when I learned to breathe while applying pressure to the trigger.
