New to this site but not new to Savage Arms. Back in 1983 I purchased my first savage rifle. A 340 chambered in 30-30 win. Which I still have and use. I harvested a nice 8 point buck with it in 2020. I have not found the need to try any other brand of rifle considering the level of quality and very good luck I have had with them over the years.
