Does anyone know where to look for manufacturing date of specific Savage Firearms? I am looking at a purchase of a Savage Model 24V which is an O/U with a top barrel in .357 and a bottom barrel in 20G. I am trying to see if this particular rifle is considered a C&R firearm since the years of production 1950-1965 bracket the 50 year standard. Any help you can be would be greatly appreciated.
