Its been a long time coming.
Hello members,
My family has a long history with Savage Rifles. My Grandmother shot a 99 exclusively, Killing many many whitetail with it over the years. My father an EG it as well putting many winters meat on our table. I have never hunted with any of the 4 centerfire 1899’s I own, having inherited a Marlin 36 from a family friend when just a boy of ten.
My current 1899’s are recent acquisitions with a fine EG bought and traded years back making 5. I also have an Early 4c which I rescued from a barn a few years back. Not pretty but it knows what to do. I am looking forward to joining in the conversation surrounding these fine arms.
