Blue Avenger, I like that laminated stock, got the same color on a Striker. Try polishing the inside of the receiver lightly with a Scotch Brite and check your firing pin and extractor. I had a bent and burred firing pin in a new, unfired bolt, replaced with a new, flat, polished firing pin.
Just recently took my Charger build to the range for a test shoot before making a few more changes. It runs good, so far. Details: Charger action from S&P, Fedderson barrel, BX trigger, Enoch Deep Six chassis. The bolt and receiver have been cleaned up and de-burred. So far, no FTF or FTE with CCI SV or Norma ammo and initial groups were okay.
That's a nice Charger. I need to dig mine out of the safe and snap some pics of it
I bought a Charger shortly after Ruger released them for kids to shoot IHMSA. Bought a Kidd 10 inch stainless barrel which made it a tack driver! Installed a Timney trigger and later upgraded to Kidd two stage trigger I had a Leo 2.5x8 EER scope on it but couldnt turn up magnification past 4x because eye relief tunneled down. Put a Burris 7x on it

Jay, Who made that upper rail the 7x Burris is mounted to? Thanks
