Hello from Lancashire, England
Annoyingly I misspelled my user name which should be 'Watcher'; unfortunately I can't work out how to change it now so I may have to get used to this rather odd handle!
Just bought my first Savage; a Model 12 BVSS in .223. Up until now I've mostly shot Target Rifle (Palma), a .303 Lee Enfield, a Marlin lever action and a Ruger 10/22. My aim is to embark on what my pal would call 'recoil therapy'. Planning to shoot up to 600 yards on the odd occasion; nothing serious but just a bit of casual F/TR. Going to ask lots of stupid questions as this is the first time I've ever used a scope of a rifle or done any serious load development.
I'm sure it will be a great pleasure to get to know you all.
