Savage 110 long action .308 does it's thing.
Planning on giving this target set a go later today as we are supposed to get some sunshine.
Rifle is a Savage 110 long action .308 with a 24" heavy OM barrel. Rail is a Murphy Precision 20 moa. Trigger has been upgraded to a Jard 7oz. Chassis is an MDT ORYX. Scope is a Sightron SV 10 - 50 x 60mm mounted with Night Force 34mm 6 hole rings. Ammo is handloads using DAG berdan cases primed with Tula KV- 7.62N primers, powder charge of 43.5 gn of Varget pushing a 150 gn custom flat base bench rest bullet loaded to a CBTO of 2.3010. Shooting off a Rock front rest and Protector rear bunny bag.
Shooting at 100 yds. Intention is to shoot 1 rnd per minute for a row of 5 then 10 minute cool down before going to next row of 5 until target card has been completed.
I have 40 rnds of this load left in my range box. Temp is 17 now at 05:21. Would like to see it get up to close to freezing. Whatta Hobby!
