Started out with some 95 grain SMKs, but they weren't dropping the dogs like I wanted them too. Ended back up with my standby of 70 grain Blitzkings.Quote:

Finally took some pictures after the recent paint job. It's a little bit ugly, but oh well. May make some more mods, but not sure yet. Thinking new stock (Choate or Medalist probably) as well as new barrel. Probably go with a bigger caliber. In my mind are: .260, .308, .300 WSM, .300 RSAUM, and 7mm RSAUM. But I haven't made a decision yet.

I couldn't say no to one of Boyds sales. Every one needs a few mauser 98's around too.
Here are a few pictures of my guns:

My wife really likes the 45 ACP and I actually had her in mind when building it. She shoots it better than I can and with 45 ACP recoil is very mild even though evergy levels are up there. I handload so I will load everything from light and fast to heavy and slow. Personally I like the heavier slower stuff because it makes for a quieter gun.
I have a few other guns but they are nothing special, a few AR's, a few pistols and a few shotguns.

Very,very cool looking outfit.

What's the bipod for?

Thought I would share a couple pictures of my Savage 12FV 22-250 with you. Same gun as above, just re-Painted the stock with a Gray Textured paint and a couple coats of flat clear coat for protection. Really happy with how it turned out. The paint has a nice feel to it and seems like it will be durable. I've been able to put 20 rounds thru it and got the scope sighted in. Had a 100yd 5 shot group that was around 1.25" Not bad for the wobbly rest I was shooting from and it was a tad cold. Every good shooter has excuses. :D
