Try 73gr Bergers with 23.5 Benchmark CCI 450 Winchester brass with .50 jump, shoots really good @ .40, .30, .20, .10 jumps also. I got this rifle off a buddy that had only shot it 5 times to sight in, I was gonna rebarrel it with a criterion but first trip out this was the result so needless to say i left it alone! Also have one in 22-250 that shoots even better!
I went back to the Hornady's 69gr. and seated 'em with a Lee seating die. The Hornady seating die I was using put a "dimple" in the bullet and I believe that caused the bullet to be out of concentricity.
So, here was the result. Now, this was with a 12X scope and I'm sure that "flyer" was me more than the gun. I'm going to order a Vortex scope in a few weeks, so I'll see how that effects not only the short 100 yard groups, but the longer 300 and 400 yard groups.
