As I read this, you've likely got a Tupeware stock ...... that will give you fits but your mileage might vary.

But do I agree, I don't like the Harris price tag.
Believe its Shooters Ridge that makes a spin off copy of the Harris for less money. Made in China and uses metric fastners so interchangeability is an issue.

Harris bipods and most American made products use English measurement fasteners namely 8-32 & 10-32 machine screw sizes. The foreign made bipods use metric thread sizes like 4mm x .70 or 5mm x .80 or anyone of half dozen other sizes. Brownells markets a quick attach thumbscrew for the Harris bipod which works on those bipods but not the imports. Try forcing them and you ruin the threads in the bipod due too the softness.
