Savage 12 Benchrest, trigger Weighed, Target Pics
NefariousD asked: "What's the trigger pull-weight of the factory Target Accu-Trigger; as set by the factory?"
My first range session, Twice I got 'click, no bang'. Both times I just re-cocked the action.
This past Saturday and Sunday, the Target Accu-Trigger performed flawlessly! I got out my weight-of-pull gauge. A slick 8oz. as set by the factory!

It does not like Sierra 155's, but does like Nosler 155's w/ 43 grains IMR 4064

It also likes Nosler 168's w/ 43 grains IMR 4064. When I got around to shooting the 168's, the wind was on the rise :(

The hole below the dime is 3 shots! :). Then the wind shifted...and I refused to adjust for it (stubborn me) ::)

Re: Savage 12 Benchrest, trigger Weighed, Target Pics
Very Nice!
Well, I finished the bedding on mine today. Tomorrow I'll mount the scope and hopefully Wed or Thursday I'll be able to take it out.
I'm planning on trying the OCW and ladder test with that new 8208 XBR behind Nosler 175's. (Mainly because I have about 1500 that I sorted by bearing surface and weight that need to be shot)
While I was doing the bedding I turned the trigger up just a bit to roughly match the feel of my LRPV
Thanks for the post it's motivating :)
