The recoil lug is the deal killer. His recoil lug will not fit the Accustock and will need to be altered or changed out.
Is it a simple part change on the lug or is it a machine and ordeal ? Thanks.
you will need a barrel nut wrench and barrel vise.
Uggh. This sounds like a project. I have headspace equipment , just not the savage tools.

It looks to me like a grinder, a file and a dab of cold blue would do it ???

^^^^Yep. After that, you need either synthetic frame/axis style detachable mag ($15-20) or the better, stronger version designed for it... an all metal frame and detachable mag ($110-150)
