I'm looking at replacing the 2 piece base with a 1 piece EGW base , it's on my 111 Trophy Hunter , it's not for long distance shooting , just deer and elk , maybe 2-300 yards at the most , what MOA is best for this ?

0 would be just fine.
You"ll probably need lower rings. They set your scope higher and depending on the the scope the objective bell might hit the end of the base.
Just my$.02 but I prefer a quality 2 piece base setup like Burris or Leupold standard or dual dovetail and an appropriate set of rings from the same manufacturers. Solid quality setups used on many many rifles. They sit lower than say an EGW picatinny style and seem to line up better with the comb of the stock providing proper cheek weld. Also you don't have to worry about limiting the forward and rearward movement due to the objective bell hitting the rail either. The 2 piece setups leave more room with better access at the ejection port for loading and unloading as well as cleaning.
Just something to think about.
