What's the difference between regular and match go and no go gauges? Looking for 6.5 creedmoor gauges and can only find the match type.
Thanks

:) My guess is "match" grade are better than "standard" grade and will make your build a "match" grade shooter. If you take pride in your work, you will not settle for anything less. Better get them.
I feel the same way about my car, so lately I have been feeling kinda anxious about the fact I can't seem to find any quality or "match" grade gas to put in it. Everywhere I go they are selling the old $1.87/gal stuff. I don't want that. I want the $3.87 a gallon variety and no one seems to be selling it these days. ;)
I figured it was just a marketing thing as the price is what normal gauges go for. Just wanted to make sure they were not some goofy specs.
These are the ones I was talking about.

Yeah, that looks like the standard PTG go/no go gauges I just bought a couple of weeks ago....unless, of course, they sprinkled some invisible, match grade pooky dust on them. :p
Yea! I won't set my stuff with anything less than a match grade case! ;-))
For the best results, these require a "match grade" barrel wrench.
^ Oh, that's good! ;-) ^
Since we're setting our headspace to minimum with regular gauges, we're as "match" as you can get.
I was scratching my head on that one due to when you head space, you do it from the mouth, shoulder, or belt, depending on the type of case you have. Anything that is a "match" chamber is either done though neck Dia, freebore, or throat, which has nothing to do with head space so I don't know what the heck they are talking about or referring to.
