Hello from SW MN.
My name is Adam Middagh, from Southwest Minnesota.
I recently became a paid member to view the classifieds, and ended up with a nice 22-250 barrel from ScopeEye. I look forward to being a long time member.
I love to build, modify, tinker, reload. When I get board, it is time to find a new caliber.
I have owned savages off and on over the years, but just within the last year found the joy of building / re barreling my own. I currently own a Savage Long Action Pre Accutrigger, and depending on my mood, it is a 308 win Bull Barrel, or a 22-250 varmint contour. I think I have more fun building, loading, and shooting at steel than I do hunting. The longest range I can shoot at is ~450yds, and I must say that there is no other feeling like watching your bullet fall onto target at a quarter mile plus.
I have Pillar and epoxy bedded my action to a Boyd's Laminate stock. Adjusted the primary extraction, firing pin protrusion, bolt lift, and trigger on my savage.
I have also built 2 AR's for myself. 1 223 Wylde with a match barrel, and a 300 Blackout Pistol (Southern MN requires shotgun/pistol for Deer season). Looking forward to putting that to use this year.
I also just received my Carry Permit this year; I own a 9mm and 45Auto pistols that I cast my own HP bullets for.
I reload/have reloaded. 222Rem, 223/5.56, 22-250, 243Win, 308Win, 300WM, 9mm, 45Auto, 300Blackout, and 12ga 2-3/3" / 3".
Thanks for the forum, and I look forward to learning from you guys.
Adam

Welcome from a fellow Minnesotan! I built a smokeless .45 muzzleloader to get around MN's shotgun laws to extend my range.
