new savage guy from ny
Hi there.
I have been researching for an other bolt rifle and I decided on a savage 308 hog hunter.
I read a ton of reviews, comparisons and forums and finally yesterday I pulled the trigger and bought me one.
I enjoy shooting and I shoot all my guns a lot. From my Remington 700 LTR with vortex HD optics that I can shoot consistently 0.5 moa to my mini 14 carbine and my classy LRB m14.
I got a few shots with the savage yesterday as soon as i bought it and i Loved the action. I think I will setup this one for hunting with a leupold vx-r scope that I already have and probably a two base scope base mount for easy loading. I will be reading the forums now to learn about these guns and share my experiences with other savage enthusiasts.

kouzman: I am lucky enough to have several Savage Bolt Guns in several calibers, and they are just great Guns. My Savage Rifles will shoot as good or better than most of my Sako`s and Remington`s. And heads up with the CZ Bolt Guns I have. Some of them are scarey accurate. And I am always on the look out for another one of them. Welcome.
