The Savage Model 29 was a .22 rifle. Are you sure what you have there isn't a Model 24?
A 219 single shot - they could be ordered under other numbers as a fitted two barrel set. The catalog number for the 30-30 & 12 gauge set was 'Model 221'. Other multi-barrel combinations could be ordered, or other barrels added, for an additional price per barrel.
Hotolds442 -Sav22,
I have owned both the Models 24 .22 Hornet/20 ga. and a 219B .22 Hornet this receiver says Model 29. I see the picture of it has been removed. I can send (email) pictures of this firearm if you would like. Thank you for your responses.

It is a Model 219/220 hammerless break-action, and to me it looks like there's a very faint "1" between the 2 and 9 on that barrel stamp in this photo...

Wrote this post before seeing the picture, changed it now that is see the picture - agree it's a 219.
The 12 ga barrel should have 220 stamped on it.
What I get for hurrying, when I really look at it I do see the 1. This is coming up for sale and wanted to know more about it before bidding. Thank you very much for setting me straight.
