Nosler has case length of 2.525 on their site. Some of my nosler brass is at 2.529. I can't find a max case length and was wondering when to think about trimming it. Also what should it be trimmed to?
Thanks for the help.

The traditional version is the same as the 280 Rem, 2.540" max, 2.530" trim length, The SAAMI version, 2.525" max and I would imagine the trim length be .010" less or 2.515". The cartridge print spec is 2.525" "minus" .012" or 2.513".

Thanks Bill. That's what I needed.
To add to Bills info......... Sinclair makes a Chamber length gauge (about $6.00, #749-000-784SV for a 280AI ) This Gizmo is inserted into a neck shortened case and loaded into a clean chamber. It will establish the exact length of your chamber. You can then decide on the trim length you'd like to use.
In my recent 280 AI searches...I'm told the older reamers were for fireforming 280 brass
Newer 'Nosler SAAMI' reamers are for Nosler preformed AI brass..........
Make sense ?
