Sear problem 110

I am trying to install a new trigger in a 110 replacing the old Savage trigger. When I finally got the old one out the sear came apart. The sear pin had been peened over it had been inserted from the spring side. I can't find a new sear tried SS they are out Brownells on backorder and Savage won't sell to me since I'm not gunsmith.
I used JB Weld then Crazy glue neither would hold when I put pressure installing the spring
Any suggestions??

You may be able to get part from Savage, some parts can be had if a release form is signed, give them a call.

Get ready I'm going to show my ignorance.

Does anyone think that you could JB wield the pieces together and then us a center punch to expand the pin? It doesn't appear to have that much stress on it or am I wrong?

Keep trying to find the part. But...if I were in your spot right now, I would use Gorilla Glue. ...EXACTLY as instructions advise.

I had the same thing happen several years ago and tried the same solutions. None of the adhesives I tried would work. It seems the older bolt stop sear combos had that stupid 2 piece design.
Finally talked my brother to spot weld it with a wire welder at his job and then filed it down.
That's the only way I know to fix it other than replacement.

Short of a replacing the sear I'd use this for a DIY ...

It melts @ 475 so you can use a butane or propane torch with a fine tip.

I finally got a replacement installed it yesterday. Got it from Numrich Gun Parts. item#139590J..Sear (One Piece) $12.25
I now need to remove some from the stock to get the trigger to fit. Trigger is From SSS

If you tried installing action with trigger guard installed, try with guard removed. Sometimes guard hits trigger housing & needs metal removed for clearance.
