Got zombies?
112 BVSS .223. I originally set this up for NRA high power competition. I made a stripper clip guide, longer bolt handle, lengthened the mag box to take a round with an oal of 2.5 in. Lighter trigger spring, bolt lift mod, adjustable cheek piece, etc. It looked like this:

This winter I built a new stock, now it looks like this:

Sorry these pics are a little blurry. Orange dot is 1 inch. Ammo tests at 200 yds, shot from a bench, off a bipod and rear bag.

Absolutely outstanding vulcan! I wish I had the skill and talent to build a stock like that. I've been curious about lathes lately, I thought a lathe would be a great starter machine for me maybe chamber and customize my own barrels.
How many hours would you say you had into the stock?

gotta admire anyone who can do that kind of work.
Really cool.
-
That is truly impressive! Nice work.
-
Thanks! I couldn't guess how many hours it took. I worked on it a little here and a little there for about 4 months.
-
Outstanding workmanship there the end result looks great.

I'm quite envious! I wish I had the knowledge and equipment to do something like that. Very nice work!

That is awesome, what's your background / machining experience?
