I have a couple of the 4.5X14AO's and they are pretty good scopes for the money. The only thing I don't like is the focus and AO adjustments are set up for a right hander and I am a lefty. The now discontinued 4.5X14AO Tactical was a much better scope for about the same money.

Ditto! Have had a Weaver V scope 3-16x40 for 15 years now. Don't know if the quality is still the same since Weaver has changed hands twice but this one has been a really good scope. You might want to check out the Redfield....guess Leupold is going to try and resurrect the product line so there may be some good deals out there.Quote:

i really want a mil dot with fine x hairs the weaver seems like it has those.
temporarily i have a Bushnell trophy xlt on my 10pc,its a decent scope but the dots and hairs are kinda thick
