Question: SA DBM OAL question for 308 Win

I was wondering if anyone could let me know what the max OAL that will fit and feed from a SA 308 Winchester DBM rifle?

I am debating on a SA or LA. I would prefer a SA but only if I can seat the bullets farther out than factory length. I know with the 223 DBM's you can still seat a ways out I was just wondering if the same holds true for the 308 DBM's.

My Savage Predator in 22-250 w/DBM measures 3.015 inside front to back.
