Hey everyone I just bought .308 and was wanting to work up a good load for hunting. I have reloaded many different cals, but don't know were to start with this one. Any info would be great.
Thanks all.

There is a lot of data out there. 165's are choice in a 10 twist for 300 yards or more.
I'd probably start with a 165gr Nosler Accubond bullet and Varget powder. I'm sure any hunting bullet in this weight range would be fine but I just prefer the Accubonds for hunting and have had very good luck with them.
Powder availability seems to be iffy right now but I have seen Varget available and it's one of the better ones for .308.
This combo should get you something I'm sure will do the trick with little effort.
Thanks guys I believe I have some varget just need to check on lead and primers.
Any decent 150-165 grain bullet, I prefer Hornady or Nosler, and Varget will get you there. My Varget charge is 46 grains with either weight bullet. That is a top load, so work up accordingly.
