What size are the screw/rail mounting holes on the reciever?

What size are the screw/rail mounting holes on the reciever?

I ordered a warne base and the screws are starting tight. Before I put them in I want to know what size tap I need to clean out the holes. I'm thinking its 6-48. Is that correct?
