Yes no barrel nut(Krieger barrel), yes sss trigger, that's my own design, swept back bolt(I did a thread on it), pt&g recoil lug, its fde cerakote, and warne 20moa base.
These are all add ons that don't make it no longer an fcp-k. It's something else and is in plain sight...
I guess it should be said that the fcp-k uses the same action as most other accustock models. Changes I made to this action make it clearly not an accustock action anymore :)
There are two other changes besides the big one that have not been mentioned. One of them takes a real keen eye - REAL keen...
1. Side bolt release and
2. BAS spacer (which makes me deduce that a bolt lift kit is installed, likely a thrust bearing (ball bearings in races) based on the apparent thickness of the spacer).
DINGDINGDING! We have a winner! There's still the one other thing that no one will probably notice, but the biggie is the side bolt release. I sent the action in for a rebarrel/cerakote and went ahead and had my gunsmith mill .078" off the side of the receiver. I already had the sear, and that's all that's needed to do away with the trigger guard bolt release.Quote:

No. Should he have? I compared this receiver to my FCP hs precision and the flat was the only thing the fcp-k receiver didn't have.
Got it temporarily installed for a teaser pic. I'll probably do a separate thread on the complete build, as there was a lot more to it than just a rebarrel/cerakote job.

Yep. I had to heavily modify the release button on my fcp-k to fit my favored sss comp trigger.
